A common comment I receive about cultural appropriation is, “Well, PoC in X country don’t find cultural appropriation offensive so why do PoC in the U.S.?” Here is my response:
Funny how people will say they can’t identify with a character because they’re black, yet they manage to identify with billionaires, super geniuses, spies, alien and super soldiers.
